I have a situational dilema........what is your answer??? No wrong answer - just looking to see what others think (this is a true story)

Situation: You have just realized that the pocketful of garbage you put in the trashcan outside of Safeway had a $20 bill in it. It has been four hours since you emptied your pockets. You are fairly certain this is the place you lost it. Do you: walk over, take off the lid, take the garbage bag out and slink off to somewhere private to rummage through it or leave it there and learn not to put money in your pockets. If you answered no, would you do it for a $50??

Right about now I think I might dig through the garbage for a 5.

Years ago a friend and I looked through every garbage can in the school for another friend's retainer. She stood around like a union boss and pointed to the rumpled up lunch bags we'd missed.

She later remembered she'd left it in her locker.
