The Olympics are all about iconic moments.
Canadian Greg Joy raising his arms in jubilation after winning a silver medal in the high jump competition at the 1976 Summer Games in Montreal.
Rower Silken Laumann winning a bronze medal with her leg heavily bandaged at the 1992 Barcelona Games, just weeks after a boating accident that nearly severed her limb.
Muhammad Ali, almost incapacitated by Parkinson's disease, and his holding of the Olympic torch at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
More iconic moments will occur this summer in Beijing, but all eyes will be on American swimmer Michael Phelps who will try to break the greatest Olympic record of all time: seven gold medals and seven world records set by American swimmer Mark Spitz at the 1972 Munich Games.
With that in mind, we want to hear from you.
What is your favourite Olympic moment? What is the one Olympic moment that most stands out in your mind? What one moment from the Games do you remember above all others?
