Exit plan is necessary. I had a fairly decent exit plan when I retired. I work part time. Sometimes drive truck, sometimes run machines, sometimes fix shit. Sometimes go fishing just because. Mostly it has worked out. We have a couple of hay burners, and our house is old, so always something to do.
