A man in a Brampton neighbourhood is captured on video being chased by a wild turkey. The video was uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday and has over 2,500 views as of Friday afternoon.Johnny Li/YouTube
Talk about ruffled feathers.
A YouTube video of a wild turkey chasing a man is making its rounds on social media.
The 39-second video uploaded by Johnny Li Wednesday shows a man shooing the bird after it continues to tail him in a Brampton neighbourhood.
At one point, the man is seen picking up a stick and takes a swipe at the turkey. Towards the end of the video, a car is seen pulling over, seemingly distracted by the interaction between bird and human.
As of Friday afternoon, the video has been viewed about 2,500 times.
“The turkey wants the man for dinner. With an orange sauce and mashed potatoes,” commented one person.
It’s not clear when or in which residential neighbourhood the video was taken.
However, a person on the Brampton subreddit thread identified the street as Mountainash Rd. near Countryside Dr.
“I live about one minute walk away from there and I’ve seen this turkey, too, lol,” the person wrote.
