Uber expects the demand for UberKITTENS to be very high.
The popular alternative taxi company is offering kittens for customers in Austin, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York City, Phoenix, San Francisco and Seattle.
Its website states that between the hours of 12p.m. and 4 p.m., customers can open their Uber app and request the “kittens” option.
Once kittens arrive, customers and their friends can spend 15 minutes with them.
The kittens are eligible for adoption in most cities.
The cost for 15 minutes with the kittens is $30. The proceeds go to participating shelters.
