Heard an Employment Expert on the radio the other day...
Said one day he had lunch with a potential hire. The woman had a sparkling resume...solid references...and was easy on the eyes as well. She really seemed to be the whole package.
However, when the waitress asked, "Care for drinks to start?" The woman asked specifically for a triple/ double coffee, with an ice cube, a shot of espresso, a twist of lemon...a double cup...and on and on...
The Hiring Agent sized up the lady immediately as 'high maintenance' and didn't offer her the job. The moral? Stick with the fries and coke!
I'm quite old school. I like talk radio. It's one of my favourite media forms for news, entertainment, current events and sports...etc.
