Voda coming to Canada: will that ever happen?

I heard VODAFONE was talking about moving into the Canadian market several years ago. Has anything happened with this? I know Voda is the worlds largest cell phone company but will they actually make it into Canada with the CRTC down peoples backs. Voda in Canada would be so cool, i love there telephones!

I doubt that will ever happen. Especially with Canada's CRTC laws and regulations. Don't count on seeing any major world players in the telecom markets to show up in Canada anytime soon.
