I just rented this anime film over the weekend. Its from the creators of Appleseed (2004). My friends and I really enjoyed this movie. The story line was well done and there wasn't much in long drawn out moral speaches like in previous anime movies. The action scenes were also very well done especaily at the start of the film. It's interesting how in anime, Japan is the most technological advanced nation in the world but the U.S. is still militarily superior while it doesn't posses Japan's high tech toys.
