Which do you consider to be the superior document, and why? The Universal Declaration of Human Rights vs. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I voted UDHR. There are a few things I like about it, among them:

Article 2 prohibits distinction on the basis of language and religion among others. The CCRF entrenched such distinctions.

The UDHR guarantees a reasonable right to private property, whereas the CCRF guarantees no such right.

The UDHR also guarantees many other reasonable rights that the CCRF does not include, not to mention no notwithstanding clause.
