I have all sorts of in-laws living in the States. One was exceedingly close to one of the mass shootings, this past year. We are their life boat.

Now I understand. He was referring to the relationship between Canadians and Americans generally, not his relationship to Canada. Good to know. I'd compare the relationship between Trump and Canada as that between two opposing soldiers facing one another on the battlefield.

Also as far as Trump goes he has personally injected more doubt into whether a business should set up shop in Canada than the TransMountain Pipeline ever did.

So where are our politicians on this one. Where is Trudeau with the bailout money?

Trump has historical family ties to Canada too, but Trudeau seemed too clueless to understand that Trump might not want him to bring up his Canadian family brothel history.
