Sources have confirmed to NorthernLife.ca that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is coming to Sudbury on Thursday to announce significant infrastructure funding.

It's expected the prime minister will announce federal funding for the Maley Drive extension. The city has committed its one-third share for $80.1 million project, and the provincial government agreed to its share in 2014.

The last time Trudeau was in Sudbury was in August at the start of the federal election campaign.

I hope the Prime Ministers motorcade all have 10 ply tires when driving on the streets of Sudbury :lol:
