snfu73, I know we disagree on other things, but what is your political affiliation? I am guessing your a LPoC supporter, right? Could be wrong though.

I am happy Harper is doing this, but it always seems Toronto gets everything. Well, they ARE the biggest city in Canada...

I tend to vote either NDP or Green Party.

I think this is a good move...investing in public transportation on Canada's largest city is going to help get cars off the road, and hopefully improve the environment. Toronto really does have an antiquated public transportation system for the size of the city it is. It needs improvement. I think it's good for the city, it's good for the citizens, good for the environment...it's just a good move. I support it.

Sure Toronto gets money...it is Canada's biggest city...it has something like a quarter of the entire population of Canada.

This cash will do nothing to fix Toronto's transit woes. David Miller always has his hand out for cash and when he does get it, nothing changes. There will be another fare hike in the spring, the service will still be unreliable and the buses will still be 30 years old.

At least David Miller and the Toronto City Council will have their catered dinners during night sessions, to the tune of $20,000/y.

Ouch....wow...scathing. Well, if that is the case, then, sounds like something has to be done about Mr. Miller.
