So full of conviction...so bereft of independent thought.
They've all been taught from Elementary School, that tolerance is a virtue. But with free speech, comes dissent. And this is where the confusion arises. They view 'dissent' as intolerance...and so they finger-point, lash out and castigate those with whom they are in disagreement with. You see it all over Twitter, on campuses like Berkely and ever more so in mainstream media. Trying to shame and silence those who don't fit into their cookie-cutter belief system.
Somethings gotta give. Perhaps my own kid's generation will rebel against all of this nonsense by the time they reach adulthood, and the pendulum will swing back to the middle again. One can always hope.
