My problem is that I have to "say" the word in my head. If I could get over that habit I think I would be a very fast reader. I would think that that would make for better understanding,
Before I took that speed reading course, people told me I moved my lips when I read. I think concentration is the key. I know that I have a lot of trouble reading if there is a lot of noise, or people rushing around.
