RE: The problem with demo

Hey, that's the same poll I just put up in the poll section. :)

Traditionally the NDP support picked up on short-term things like scandals lasts longer than the support the Conservatives pick up.

If you look at the regional polls on the same page, the Liberals would win a minority even if the election were held today. The NDP would likely gain seats at the expense of both the Liberals and Conservatives.

Sorry did not get to that section yet as I usually put poll numbers there but thought I would use it to try and illistrate it is only a very brief jump for Cons and I also wager half of that 30% for cons is from Alberta.

RE: The problem with demo

We posted them at the same time, No 1.

The Conservatives have jumped mostly in Alberta. They have nothing to gain there. They're up in Ontario a bit, but that support is soft and most likely in ridings that they already hold.

The Liberals are not going to lose much in Quebec...they pretty much bottomed out there last time...and the Conservative aren't going to pick up any seats there. That leaves the Liberals in power again, likely in a minority. The big difference this time is likely to be more NDP seats.
