Greenland is to Denmark what Canada is to England, correct? Independent but still connected to the Monarchy.

There is a US base there which is controversial. Many natives were displaced to expand the base. On the flip side, the base greatly contributes to the economy.

I know there are lots of foreign military in other countries, but do other countries (besides the US) have bases abroad?

On another forum there is a guy who is a die hard monarchist. What is the benefit of a monarchy for Greenland? Is there the same benefit for Canada?

Would you live in Greenland? Why or why not?

One thing, they will get lots of tourism and parade
And I like monarchy, powerful figure..face of the state..and but depends how it can be good or bad for Canada, depends.

interestingly there is a language called "greenlandish", spoken on the west coast, although danish is the language on the east side. I'd live there at least for a while, just to find out about it. I flew over the southern tip once on a clear day on a trip from london to toronto. The mountains were amazing, and all the glaciers were breathtaking
