It is very difficult to understand the area between opposites. If I say I have no friends, it does not mean that I have enemies. If I say that I have no enemies, it does not mean that everybody is a friend to me.So, how can you understand the state of being where you have neither friends nor enemies?
So, we always swing like a pendulum from one end to the other. That is the movement of thought. It is always between these pairs of opposites. We cannot conceive a state of being where these pairs of opposites do not exist at all.

Can you explain that a bit further China? I do not view Truth as an Entity. Dead centre it is true does not contain opposites.

The state of being is not only found in opposites. There is everything which lies in between. For example, you may not be my friend nor my enemy you may indeed be merely neutral.

When we are in a state of confusion we may well swing back and forth between two choices or ideas. When we find our balance we no longer swing back and forth but rest somewhere in between. We choose. So what is this choice? Can it not contain both yet neither?
