Recently, a fireball has streaked in the sky of Tokyo; some said they heard sounds like thunder.

And this video of the same fireball, with explanation:

Fireballs might be comets or meteorites.

The meteorite is an inert rock coming from the outer space then hit the atmosphere and the friction causes much heat, but may not inflame, unless it includes some minerals like Magnesium or Potassium.. the tiny particles containing such inflammable materials will be the meteors or as publicly called 'shooting stars'

The comet:
While the flaming fireball is almost a comet (coming originally from the sun), which may cause a blasting sound, and even some nuclear reaction and local radiation.

Like the Comet of Chelyabinski in Siberia, which fulfilled the criteria of the comet:
1- It caused a very bright light.
2- A blasting sound.
3- It impacted the frozen cold regions in Siberia.
