You expect any thinking person to take those seriously?I dunno how you people can keep a straight face presenting the tortuous logic and constant rearranging of the references like those two links provide. The first one, in fact, seems to indicate Miller was wrong.

You know any other songs besides Christian fundamentalism, Crusader? I'm beginning to wonder whether you're just a more persistent than average troll.

This thread reminds me of a broad cast on my local Radio Station it's called the "Mass For Shut Ins". At the end of each Mass the Priest/Pastor/Reverand aka don't know- states that Jesus loves all of us and if we'd like to worship with the True God call the BAPTIST Church and their bus will pick you up and take you to Mass. I have been tempted to have them pick me up and drop me off at Walmart, but it seem kinda well tasteless on my part.

CBC Layoffs? They really need to begin by trimming the fat AT THE TOP.

Start by sacking 50 of their highest paid Executives. They really don't do much in the way of getting the job done and they're mostly inexperienced, useless Political Appointees and Old School Hacks with overinflated, unjustified pay cheques. Then, give Peter Mansbridge a promotion to be in charge of the entire organization so that he never gets locked out again. SHAME ON THEM FOR THAT.

CBC can automate and use less techs but guess what? The kids in school know the field sucks and aren't going for it any more. After RIF's are executed and the survivors retire, there won't be anybody left who knows the infrastructure of the facilities or network operations.

Want to be compassionate? Let the Executives keep their jobs, but they will be given a 25 hour work week,(giving them more time to play golf or work as a greeter at Wal Mart) put on a Contract Basis, and strip them of their benefits and retirement packages. Come on! They think everyone else should be a contract worker and live in their parents basement with little hope of a rewarding career, let these bastards set the example themselves!

This isn't just happening at CBC but at every corporation in North America.

This kind of business practice must be stopped because it's destroying both Canada and the US. P L E A S E! Can you really buy a home and provide for a family as a CONTRACT WORKER???
