Australia is struggling to handle its history of Aboriginals being murdered. A quick look at [google] on Canadian history shows the same pattern in Indian experience. What is History from their point of view? Is it not that Christians invaded and terrorised them in all possible combinations? How does 9/11 compare in the cost of lives and materially?

100 Millions perhaps a little off, but your point is well taken.

If that weren't enough whole tribes were wiped out. But it should be remembered it was our nation's founders who were citizens representing other nations who were major players in the slaughter. Post confederation leaders during the early years who should have known better and learned from these couldn't resist some kicking as well.

The genocide of the Beothuk will remain as a sad reminder of the savagery of so called civilized man.
