Star Wars TV series could be coming soon

During the Television Critics Association summer tour, at which TV networks and streaming services are presenting details on upcoming programs, ABC Entertainment's president, Channing Dungey was asked if the Star Wars cinematic universe could have a life in primetime.
"As a fan, I would absolutely love to say 'yes'" it will happen, she said.
“The conversations with Lucas, we have had conversations with them and will continue to have conversations with them. I think it would be wonderful if we could find a way to extend that brand into our programming.”
The animated Star Wars Rebels currently airs on Disney XD, but a live-action Star Wars TV series would follow Marvel’s pattern, which has Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as the Netflix shows Daredevil, Jessica Jones and the upcoming Luke Cage and Iron Fist as part of its extended universe.

Everyone loves the imaginary world of Star Wars. Especially the idea of a universal force of good and evil, such as the force. It's very romantic to us humans.

The idea what's good and evil to ourselves is a universal force, really makes us feel like the centre of the universe :lol:
