“Social Corruption Tribunal”: 2. I just could not write the official phony name!
Part of the problem is “Landlord and Tenant Board” which is a branch of the Tribunal. What is wrong with it? For a start; the name LANDLORD; what in hell is that? That title existed when the owner of the land was a Lord and owned the land and everything on it including people. Now, are they hoping to bring back the Golden Days? It should be “Owner”; that is who they are. That Board was created, as proclaimed, to protect tenants from the powerful owners! It became the sword in the hands of owners. The Government, in its infinite wisdom, gave the Board a lot of power, stuffed it (not a typo, staffing imply choosing the right person for the job) with corrupt, inept bigots and let them loose without any control. The Tribunal does not answer or is accountable to any one. If anybody complains, they have the answer: the Board “works independently”. How many times we have heard that moronic reply? I understand how this concept was created; however it never works (another discussion). Everybody who had the misfortune of dealing with the Board came to same conclusion because it was obvious. But for some strange reason it was never obvious to those who ‘created’ the Board!!! Personally; from the behavior, attitude and bizarre decisions, I can comfortably say with 90% certainty that corruption is rampant in the Board; I do not say that lightly. I guess by now you want proof. Here is an example of how that ‘circus’ works. An owner obtained contracts by fraud and deception. In the Hearing the owner also submitted altered (forged) documents and lied in the testimony. With evidence I proved and pointed out all of the above to the Board. There was no reaction from the Board. These infractions are “criminal offences” according to the Board’s print-outs. These print-outs warn against lying in testimony or submitting false documents. Apparently this warning is for those poor bustard tenants only; owners are above the law; they are LORDS. I really would like some one to explain this to me. What is the motive that is so STRONG that makes the Board break its own laws and regulations? About 5 - 6 years ago I complained twice about the ‘mockery’ they call Hearings, nothing was done. The only change was in the web site, a complaints tab was added. CRIMINAL OFFENCES WERE COMMITTED AND THE ONLY THING DONE WAS ADDING A (USELESS, LITERALLY) TAB TO THE WEBSITE!!! Wow, wow, wow. The instructions in that tab stated: complaints should not be about decisions but about the way the complainant was treated!! The Tribunal will refer you to another branch since it will not deal directly with the issue; may be they wanted to know if you were offered coffee! Even if the decisions are outrageously bizarre you can not complain; it is God’s will. I also received an email from ‘The Legal’ department of the Tribunal.
