maybe it's the UN's intention to try all of these neocon clowns, posthumously

You can never tell. Nobody ever thought they'd arrest Pinochet, but they did. There are no time limits on war crimes, so if the world community reaches the point where it is no longer afraid of the US they can try whoever they want. There is certainly no shortage of evidence.

The old jester angus told me that before Pinochet was out, he changed the laws to give himself imunity againist any crimes. Do you think Mr. bush might do the same??

He also told me that the united states supported Pinochet. He even had american citizens killed. I do not understand how you can say you believe in freedom, and than back a mass murderer. How can they expect people to sallow this. 8O

Two things have happened though...the Chilean government changed the laws again and, more importantly, Pinochet is being charged with international crimes.

George Bush and his cabinet have been vehemently opposing the ICC and other organizastions and treaties that enforce international laws. They are afraid that Americans will be charged. In the case of Pinochet, that would be Henry Kissinger. In the future that would include the entire Bush cabinet.

He also mentioned the other day that the american who's son was murdered, (the one that they made the movie about called missing
can now prove his son was murdered, so a case can be made in court. I do not understand at all!!! how you can preach demoracy and support this kind of person at the same time and supply him with arms. I really would like to know how they justify it. Why is it their business who is running a country???

Jay remarked in some thread about cuba, but my uncle goes to cuba all the time, he tells a different story. And did not the americans support the dictator in cuba before castro. I think they are just pissed at castro because he out witted, out played and out smarted them on more than one occassion.

RE: So Much for the Coali

Foreign policies in the US hae traditionally been driven by the corporate agenda. They justified it during the Cold War by saying they were fending off creeping socialism and things like that. That particular justification doesn't work anymore.
