Oh great time to post that, Loc............what is this ...........lest we forget? I'm old enough to remember that time and what happened during the rioting. Again I was so glad I was living in Canada.
I lived very near the Watts area of Los Angeles at the time of the riots, it was a very scary time for everyone, and it didn't help the race relations at all. There were some awful things that happened on both sides. The worst for me was the cop who told us about deliberately locking the door of a building that was on fire and they knew there were looters in the building. They didn't care that human beings were burned to death, for a crime that was not an executable crime!
