Hi everyone,
My name is Sharla and I live in Kamloops BC. I had an inspired idea one day while watching my nephew's hockey game. Every time his team scored a goal, the parents would put money into a can to help raise money for the team. This gave me an idea!
When something good happens to you or you are feeling grateful for something in your life, put some change into a jar. When the jar is full, give it away to someone. I originally started this as a family tradition and then began sharing this idea with family, friends and people in my community and have received a wonderful response. I intend to share this idea with as many people as I can.
The definition of abundance is 'Full to overflowing.' Every time I put money into the jar, I am reaffirming to myself that my life is 'Full to overflowing'. Not only am I expressing my gratitude for the good things in my life, I am also sharing this abundance with someone else. We live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world and have luxuries people in developing nations can only dream about, yet we still feel that we do not have enough. There is so much fear and violence in the news. Let's start changing that, by bringing more good stories into the headlines.
Together we can bring more light into the world, one jar at a time!
