I have no doubt that, given the opportunity, the Liberal Party of Canada would rather serve Canadians alongside the New Democratic Party than they would the Conservative Party of Canada. That's just my opinion, though.

What makes you think the Liberals wouldn't just to keep the government going.

There only other choice is the conservatives and that would shock alot of Liberal voters/supports to the NDP. So the Liberals in my view can go ahead and ally themselves with the conservatives. It would only hurt them in the end. :twisted:

No I believe the Liberals are too inteligent then to ally with anyone else but the NDP.

In the end really, the NDP has nothing at all to lose. To ally with any party that is. The only problem they could have is they get too many seats and the liberals get too few and someone in the party gets the idea that since the NDP are social democrats and since the bloc is considered to be social democrats as well... well you get my train of thought on that one. It would be bad. But I hope if that ever happend Layton would quickly dismiss any thought of using the bloc.
