A Royal Navy Wildcat attack helicopter was all that was needed to rid a suspicious Russian ship anchoring off the British coast.

The Russian ship Sinegorsk anchored over telecommunications cables in the Bristol Channel between England and Wales.

It was last known to be in port at Archangelsk in the far north west of the vast nation, the base of the Russian Northern Fleet.

The British - big allies of the Ukrainians - are suspicious that the Russians are interested in and monitoring Britain's undersea cables.

So the Royal Navy ordered the Wildcat to be deployed and that was enough to shoo the suspicious Russian ship away from Britain...

Britain's Wildcat helicopters show off their awesome array of firepower off the coast of allied nation Norway.

The powerful choppers are perfect for seeing off - or destroying - enemy or suspicious ships off the British coast.

It's no wonder the Russian ship ran away...
