Today Rob announced that Ben Johnson and Sam Tarasco are joining his campaign team.
As you know, Ben Johnson is most well known for being stripped of a gold metal because he was taking drugs.
Sam Tarasco plays Sam Losco in the Trailer Park Boys. At one point his character actually ran for mayor but lost because he was high during his campaign speech.

Do these people sound like guys who he would seriously want associated with his campaign?
The part that seems to make me think he is being played is this:
"It was Tarasco who set up the meeting. He works for an events company called The Substance Group, which wanted to recruit Ford for a mystery project it is planning with Johnson. Tarasco is from Etobicoke and has mutual friends with Ford, and he served as a conduit to the mayor’s office."
The Jimmy Kimmel thing made it pretty clear that it is easy to take advantage of him if you play to his vanity.
