Interestingly I heard about this site on a CBC program today and then later on the local news. It is a world news site where readers can rate the stories. It appears that as usual the most trivial topics receive the most votes, but there are some interesting stories nevertheless, and the site is huge, containing hundreds of news items. I expect many CC members already know of it, but if not here it is.

It's a site I visit daily for both entertainment and serious material. The value of the site lies in the ''subreddits'' where you can read, watch, consume any information concerning subjects of interest to you. If you only stick around the main page, you will indeed mostly get trivial stuff.
