Prince of Wales enjoys warm welcome to Singapore

The Prince of Wales has received a warm welcome by the leaders of Singapore at the Istana, the palace and official residence of Singapore's president.

The Heir to the Throne shook hands with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, before holding a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, on the second day of his visit to the tiny country ahead of the Earthshot Prize ceremony.

Britain's next monarch, Prince William, Prince of Wales, 41, apologises to Singapore over the absence of his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, during his visit to the tiny Asian nation.
