It's a pity the would-be assassin wasn't successful.

What have Catholics ever done apart from try to assassinate the King and Parliament, bomb innocent civilians, sexually abuse young boys and encourage sexually-transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies by banning condoms in Catholic nations??

The fact that someone tried to kill the Pope doesn't surprise me.
