Re: Internet Police State News
And that one went thru too...
So maybe it was the copy/pasting, or the links. I will re-type it here in brief:
Internet Police are a fact in China, they have hired 30,000 of them so far. They have the duty of monitoring anti-government chatter, esp at the forums. Also, they employ the tactics of diversion and distraction from the topics, as well as personal attacks that escalate into an online brawl.
We have seen that here too, and on other forums in North America, and it is usually just normal human bad behavior, jerks with issues and not much to back up their opionions with so they insult people.
But that may also be a product of the underlying culture that has been fed to us over the past century, fed to us with the intent of keeping the population "controllable" [the first goal of any governing body].
Nortel is involved, as are other American corporations, with the internet police in China. They developed the software, and help run it, and are gathering information on individuals for them selves as well as for the Chinese Government. [The links were to this story, see next post, I hope]
So the conclusion is that there are internet police here too. At the forums and so on, disrupting the revolutionary ideas. Anti-government stuff gets their attention, and they infect computers, and who knows what else.
And thats all I was trying to say, but got boinked offline every time, tried 15 times at least.
i will try it again, and send it to Rev.
