Patagonia has the slickest POS (Point of Sale) system I ever saw it took longer to walk to the store a block away than it did to receive a refund and it was an article of clothing bought over the net from the US company and returned here in Canada.

Patagonia is an amazing company. The founders traveled by Econoline van back in the late sixties from the San Francisco area to southern Chile (Patagonia) for the purpose of making a first ascent of Cerro Fitz Roy which is visible when people sailed around the southern tip pf the continent. They must have liked what they saw and went on to buy thousands of acres of land to protect it from development. Feel good about supporting the company.
