Her white dress with the black piping was absolutely exquisite. Even as a gay guy, I have to say that she looked quite pretty, on the Throne of the Senate of Canada. However, His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond looked sort of creepy.
There were. Unfortunately, the only men they zoomed in on were the Honourable Michael Fortier, P.C., the Senator for the Senatorial Division of Rougemont for Québec and Minister of Public Works and Government Services, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, P.C., M.P., the Member for Calgary Southwest and the Prime Minister of Canada and, as noted above, His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond.
What I noticed was how she lit up the otherwise dull and misty day with her presense. Consider me smitten :wink: One of the best political appointments ever!
