An animal charity is looking for new homes for 10 adorable puppies which have been named after England rugby union players.
The 10 six-week-old Boxer-cross dogs were taken to a Blue Cross centre in Kimpton, Hertfordshire, on Wednesday, after their mother was killed when she was hit by a car. They are named Johnno, Tindall, Ashton, Flood, Wilko, Foden, Easter, Sheridan, Hartley and Haskell although, unlike their cauliflower-eared England rugby stars namesakes, the puppies are nice to look at.
Emma Pannell, the centre's deputy manager, said: 'These pups are such little bruisers that it seemed perfect to name them after rugby players.'
The 10 puppies were probably gathered around the TV yesterday afternoon to watch their namesakes thrash Italy 59-13 at Twickenham in the annual Six Nations Championship, of which England are the favourites to win for a record 26th time.

An animal charity is trying to find homes for a pack of pups named after England rugby union stars.
The 10 six-week-old Boxer-cross dogs - made up of Johnno, Tindall, Ashton, Flood, Wilko, Foden, Easter, Sheridan, Hartley and Haskell - were taken to a Blue Cross centre in Kimpton, Hertfordshire, on Wednesday, after their mother was killed when she was hit by a car.
'These pups are such little bruisers that it seemed perfect to name them after rugby players,' said Emma Pannell, the centre's deputy manager.
Homeless: Johnno, Tindall, Ashton, Flood, Wilko, Foden, Easter, Sheridan, Hartley and Haskel after looking for a new home after their mother was killed by a car
Loving: Assistants Jessica Down (left) and Katrina Brunt cuddle the six-week-old pups at The Blue Cross Animal Welfare Charity
'Like many rugby players, these puppies are going to be big and boisterous so they'd like a home where they can run around.'
The pup's namesakes were in action today against Italy at Twickenham in the Six Nations Championship.
And they ran out 59-13 winners with an especially impressive performance from Chris Ashton, who scored four tries in a match - the first time a player has managed the feat in the competition since 1914.
It looks like little Ashton could be the most popular choice for adoption.
A charity spokeswoman said anyone interested in providing a home for a pup should contact the Blue Cross on 0300 790 9903.
The real deal: The England team lining up for the national anthem ahead of the match against Italy at Twickenham today. The dogs are named after ten of the players.
