This is not a criticism of just the Liberal Party of of the Conservative Party too. When the opposition asks a question and you don't know the answer, instead of repeating your election slogan again and again and again, how about answering directly and truthfully. There is no shame in a Prime Minister of Cabinet Minister to say something like:
'I don't know the answer to that question but will take it on notice and will respond within the next three weeks."
If when the three weeks is coming up and he still need more time to answer the quwestion, fire an email to the MP who'd asked the original quetion to give another time estimate.
I don't expect my PM or any Cabinet Minister to know everything about evdrything. However, I do expect them to be honest. This problem did not start with Trudeau, but he's certainly not improving matters and might even have done worse than Harper by far (and Harper was bad enough for meaningless partisan answers in the House). Seriously, our system is majorly borken.
