RE: Nokia 2275 From BELL

The card slot you see on your nokia 2275 is not a GSM sim card slot, it's for CDMA2000. Actualy, the use of the card slot is the same as GSM simcards, like saving phonebook memories, however, it will not work over GSM network, it has to stay with CDMA. That's mean you will never be able to use the nokia 2275 on either Rogers or Fido. If you're looking a nokia phone at Rogers, try 3120b and 3220b. They're both great phone at great prices.

This phone is unlockable, my friend unlocked his about 2 weeks ago, he keeps bragging about it and wont tell me or our other friends how to do it. PS. he phoned up bell and got them to unlock it for him, Don't ask me how, he used social engineering heh
but they unlocked his phone for him basically, took him about a hour or so to talk the reps into doing it.
Thats the only way I know of how to unlock this phone.

Dear Newbie

If you bought a cell from Bell you will have to wait 48 hours then use the last 4 digits of your new cell number as the defalt code to unlock your security. Then you should change it. They don't even know this(LOL).
