Released: 28th November 2005.
The Darkness gloriously return with their second album, One Way Ticket To Hell...And Back. Everything you’ve heard is true. The exhaustion and the fear, the pressure, paranoia and pan pipes, the breakdowns and break-ups, the sackings, sitar solos and endless studio sessions, and now - their second album - the rebirth and redemption of The Darkness.
One Way Ticket To Hell...And Back is the conclusion of a year-long journey from Lowestoft to London and from Monmouthshire to LA to prove to everyone (and themselves) just how utterly irrelevant every other band is right now. The goal: To create the album they had no choice but to make and prove The Darkness are the world’s greatest band.
The album is produced by Roy Thomas Baker, responsible for crafting some of the most impressive and influential records of all time with a CV that includes Queen, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and The Who.

Here is the new line-up of The Darkness -
On the far left is their new bass player, Richie Edwards, who used to be the band's guitar technician. He replaces original bass player Frankie Poullain, who left the band last month, with his ex-bandmates blaming "musical differences" for his departure.
