THIS scary looking monster of the deep looks like a huge eel — but is actually a SHARK.
The 5ft-long Frilled Shark is rarely seen because its natural habitat is 2,000ft below the waves. The brute has razor-sharp teeth and eats other sharks.
This one got tangled in a Japanese trawlerman’s net. Rescuers took it to the Awashima Marine Park in Numazu, south of Tokyo — but it died hours later.
