Mobile Outlook Send Problems

Has anyone encountered problems with sending messages from Outlook when travelling? While I can receive messages on Outlook and I can both send and receive through Yahoo Mail and other systems, my attempts to send from Outlook when I am on the road are returned as "Undeliverable".
I have no such problem when I am at my home base. I am using a Toshiba A50 AG1 with 1.60 Ghz Centrino processor. My Outlook is the Office XP Standard version.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

RE: Mobile Outlook Send P

First thing I would check is to see if there are any more specific error messages other than "undeliverable" (is there a button that shows more details?) Second, what servers Outlook is trying to connect to.

Since you can send and receive Yahoo Mail indicates that you have a working Internet connection so if this is the case, then try pinging the servers at the command prompt to see if you get any replies.

RE: Mobile Outlook Send P

Thanks for the feedback. I have already tried your suggestion with no other information. It's as if I had used an incorrect address and yet I know that's not the case. Bloody inconvenient, I'll tell you. What confuses me is that I can receive messages with no difficulty, but I cannot reply to them or send new messages. As soon as i return home, all is well again.
I have discussed the issue with other Outlook users who travel and they don't have this problem, so I thought I would cast out the issue on this forum to see if I could find someone who had encountered this problem as well.
Any suggestions?
