This is a commentary from a person who was an insider at one time, and has no axe to grind now. His job is not in jeopardy. This stifling of previous normal procedures has been mentioned on these forums, but has been overlooked to a large degree. Apparently it is so bad that buying office supplies has become a major effort in some cases.
