England rugby heroes partied in a Paris bar with Princes William and Harry hours after their defeat against South Africa in the World Cup Final. The princes were at the Stade de France in Paris to cheer on the England boys. Despite their defeat in the Final to the Springboks, the England lads were allowed to celebrate their success at reaching the Final against the odds when the team, despite being World Champions before the tournament started, were written off as no-hopers. Princes William and Harry are buge rugby fans, and were seen in the bar drinking with England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson and England centre Mathew Tait. Wilkinson is normally teetotal. Afterwards, the princes went back to the team hotel with the England team to watch British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, 22, attempt to win the World Championship in his debut season. When he had technical problems on the 8th lap, Prince William said: "On no! He's lost it!"

BOOZY princes William and Harry went on an amazing all-night bender with England’s rugby stars after the World Cup final.

Wills, 25, and Harry, 23, downed lager and vodka with players – including Jonny Wilkinson who broke his teetotal habit.

The Princes knocked back bottles of lager after arriving at the players’ Paris hotel at midnight.

Half the 30-man England squad were drinking to forget the defeat to South Africa.

The two royals switched to vodka as their “quick drink” turned into a spree.

They chatted to the players and stunned guests, including a group of star-struck English schoolgirls.

Centre Mike Catt told Wills he was “gutted” to have lost 15-6 as England surrendered their world champions’ crown.

But William – who was seen apparently shouting “F***!” when England’s try was disallowed – told him: “Don’t worry, everyone’s proud of you guys. It was awesome.”

The royal commiserations turned into an incredible night on the lash as the players, coaches and their royal supporters decided to go clubbing at 3am.

The party headed for exclusive L’Etoile club near the Arc de Triomphe on the team coach at 3.45am.

Harry and Wills each grabbed a double vodka in a glass to drink on the coach.

As the frolics continued, centre Mathew Tait, 21, had to take his shirt off after being drenched in booze – and fly-half Jonny needed a helping hand from Harry.

Jonny ended up in the toilets and the prince stopped other revellers getting into the gents before emerging with his arm around the queasy hero.

The party broke up at 6am when the princes left by a rear door with protection officers as the players headed back to their hotel.

Hungover Jonny said yesterday: “Having a blow-out simply seemed the right thing to do. A huge bond has formed in this squad over the past few weeks and I didn’t want to break it.

“We actually managed to have a lot of fun . . . but I felt rank as a result.”

A source at the L’Etoile said: “Everyone let their hair down and the atmosphere was great. William, Harry and the players were having one big party.”

The princes – both in England track-suit tops – popped back to the players’ hotel yesterday to watch Lewis Hamilton in the Brazilian Grand Prix on TV.

When the British star had technical problems on the eighth lap, Wills said: “Oh no, he’s lost it.”
