King Charles III has visited Royal Military Training Academy in Sandhurst, Berkshire, for the first time since becoming the British military's Commander-in-Chief.

The King inspected the 200th Royal Military Academy Sandhurst’s Sovereign’s Parade, presenting the new Colours and Sovereign’s Banner to the receiving Ensigns.

The King gave an address and presented the prize winners’ awards, including the Sword of Honour.

Sandhurst is the British Army's initial officer training centre.
