Plenty of traditional British pageantry was on display as King Charles III and Queen Camilla together with the King's son the Prince of Wales and the King's brother the Duke of Edinburgh attended the Order of the Thistle ceremony at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh.
Held as part of the annual Royal Week, the service honours the Order of the Thistle, Scotland's highest and oldest order of chivalry, in the presence of the Sovereign and the Order's Knights and Ladies.
The Royals were dressed in their beautiful Order of the Thistle costumes and men bowed and women curtsied in respect to the British Head of State as he passed.
