The King and Queen Consort have joined Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK Vadym Prystaiko and his wife Inna in Liverpool to mark the twinning of the city’s Central Library with the Regional Scientific Library in Odesa. Their Majesties were greeted on arrival by brass band EuroBrass, before unveiling a plaque to mark the twinning of the British and Ukrainian libraries.

Acording to tradition, after her Coronation on Saturday next week Camilla will no longer be Queen Consort. She'll be the Queen thereafter.

Cool. Developing those ties is a great idea. The war won't last forever.

Crazy how NATO thinks the best way to deal with Russia is to let Finland join.

It's like we've trodden on the Bear's toes and when it's lashed out in response we've responded by poking it in the eye.

"Oh, so Russia is angry that NATO and the EU have courted bordering country Ukraine? What better way to respond than by NATO allowing bordering country Finland to join?"

Maybe, just maybe, it's we who are the aggressors, not the Russians.

They set the precedent with the Warsaw Pact and Cuba. What goes around comes around.

The Finland-Sweden move is a good idea. Force and threat are the only things Russia responds to. They see peacemaking moves as signs of weakness.
