King and Queen arrive in Samoa for State Visit

Fresh from their tour of Australia, the King and Queen have arrived in neighbouring Samoa onboard an RAAF plane for their State Visit.

Upon arriving in the small Pacific republic which gained its independence from New Zealand in 1962, the British Head of State and his Consort were welcomed by Samoan PM Fiame Naomi Mata'afa.

The New Zealanders, with the support of their British allies, took Samoa from the Germans during World War I...

King Charles III has made a speech at the opening of the 2024 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa.

The King made the speech not long after the Samoans made him one of their High Chiefs.

The Commonwealth was, famously, a great love of his mother Queen Elizabeth II.


The Samoans honour the King by making him a High Chief...
