I saw Mr Dryden in Question Period (Five, correct me on all my misnaming of parliamentary terms). I've concluded he is too nice of a guy to be an effective politician. During "Statements by Members" (Five?) he softly and gently made a statement about the passing of someone in his community. I think he expected everyone to leave Wreck Beach and have a parliamentary love in at that point. They next guy, a Conservative backbencher, blasted the Liberals and the leadership candidates, asking them to return the stolen $40mil forensic auditors can't find.
Ken looked a bit out of place. He will need to inject more piss and vinegar to be anywhere near effective. Nice guys finish last in that profession.
