I love a good deli, hard to find these days with everything so 'prepared' and 'packaged'. Eons ago, when still just a youngn' I worked in a great deli that actually made almost all of their own wares (talk about spoiled!!).
There is nothing better than a fresh smoked meat on rye with a good Bavarian mustard!

I'm in mississauga so there are some great deli's here and in Toronto to choose from.
My FavouriTA is a lil piece of heaven transported from Montreal.
Centre Street Deli, on Centre st. West of bathursts above steeles and east of erm Allen turns into Dufferin?
Anywho it really is the best in the city.
There chopped liver and fried onions is to die for, spread on Kimmel(rye with caraway seed).
Montreal smoked meat cut with a knife instead of machine cut...truly a big difference in texture and juicyness....
Bavarian mustard huh...sounds good.....
I'm a Nancy's mustard freak myself on Smoked meat on double rye..you can now get it at any shopsy's as well...which does well in a pinch but pales in comparison to Centre street Deli...
