Everyone's favourite bald Manc twonk and comedy travel documentary host Karl Pilkington - the whingeing but lovable comedy genius whom his friend Ricky Gervais once called "the funniest man alive in Britain today" - is back with the second series of his hilarious round-the-world TV series The Moaning of Life.

Like 2013's first series, which followed on from his hugely successful three series of An Idiot Abroad where he was sent around the world AGAINST his will by Gervais and Stephen Merchant, Karl (willingly this time) travels the globe to re-assess his life and look at things a little differently now that he has reached his forties.
Like the first series, he takes a look at how other countries face up to some of life's biggest issues with their cultures and customs.

This time, Pilkington will visit, amongst other places, Japan; he'll wear robot arms and prosthetic breasts; he'll finally cover that orange-like head with some hair; and, of course, he will complain about these things! Yet, like all his previous travel shows, it'll be tear-inducingly hilarious.

The middle aged moaner is back on Sky 1 for 2015

Karl is back and, once again, looking at how other cultures deal with life's greatest issues

After the huge success of An Idiot Abroad and Karl's first Moaning of Life, the middle aged moaner is back on Sky1 for a second series. The hilarious Karl Pilkington is at it again with the 2nd instalment of The Moaning of Life.

As if being sent around the world three times already by Ricky Gervais in An Idiot Abroad wasn't enough, everyone's favourite 'round-headed buffoon' is set to do it all again, but this time on his own journey of self-discovery... for the 2nd time!

Karl Pilkington is in to his 40s, he’s now officially 'middle-aged' and he's ready to re-assess his life and look at things a little differently (about time, right?).

In The Moaning of Life 2 the now very well travelled Karl experiences how other cultures face up to some of life's biggest issues, while at the same time planning for his own future.

"I've been on the planet for 40 years now, and I'm still none the wiser as to what it's all about really", Karl said. "I've never worried about life's big questions. People at my age sit about pondering about 'why are we here?' The only time I ever asked myself that is when Suzanne booked us a surprise holiday to Lanzarote."
