Just how ‘North American’ is your car?
NAFTA negotiators are spending most of their time talking about the “fiendishly complex” rules used to determine whether the parts used to make a vehicle are “North American.” As Daniel Dale reports, the deceptively simple question isn’t always simple to answer.

This is exactly why things like just dumping NAFTA - or Health Care, or alliances etc - are not something that you should do with no actual plan for replacement.

You should not get rid of any deal prior to having a new deal in place.
